This debate should be a hoot. I’m expecting DJT to say and do things unprecedented in previous “gentlemanly” debates. I suspect it’ll be “Katie, bar the door” if Lester Holt manages to aggravate DJT. While it may not score big points for DJT (who knows?) it will certainly qualify as excellent theater.
I agree – part of the debate is (and should be) how well someone adjusts to what comes along. If batters have to think about hitting curve balls, then it’s not to much to ask politicians to do a rhetorical version of that.
