People booed and jeered at U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman as he walked into the Algoma Town Hall just outside Oshkosh Friday morning.
The Republican congressman from Glenbeulah was there for a town hall meeting with around 100 constituents. After the building hit full capacity, around 50 more stood outside.
He started by commenting on President Donald Trump’s executive orders since taking office a month ago.
“This is moving very quickly compared to other administrations, and I think, across the board, he’s done some very good things,” Grothman said.
Boos and shouts erupted around the room. When Grothman praised orders ending birthright citizenship and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, the crowd only got louder.

Fitzgerald,too, got clubbed like a baby seal in West Bend, of all places. West Bend is not the same politically as the East Side of MSN. Tiffany and Van Orden didn’t bother to show up to a Wisconsin Farmer’s Union event or do any town halls. Wise, on their part. Who likes to be pulped in public for being the fascist-enabler that you are??
MAGA (nee. Republicans) sure seem to be teeing up the Mother of All Backlashes for 2026. They don’t seem to care, or perhaps are too pants-pissingly scared of Trump’s ketamine-addled hench-fascist to do anything about it.
The MAGA game plan seems to be simply cancel elections, rather than doing anything positive to get re-elected.
This could well be irrational exuberance on my part, but it seems to me that chickens are coming home to roost. What Grothman and Fitz just experienced is likely a low-key preview of whats coming.

The level of overreach from a narrow win is astonishing, even from these obtuse gentlemen.
Between now and 11.2026, I’d guess they’ll be tested in the face of large public protests.
