FREEWHITEWATER published a poll previously about readers’ favorite newspapers for Whitewater news, with choices from among the Daily Union, Whitewater Register, and Janesville Gazette. Today’s poll is a version of that one, asking not for favorites, but simply for those newspapers one reads (like them or not). Multiple answers are possible, too. The poll’s focus is only on traditional newspapers (so new media websites, blogs, or Facebook pages aren’t included).
Results of that previous poll of favorites, from March 2009, are available here.

I receive the MKE Journal Sentinel, 7 days a week; the DU, Mon.-Fri.; the Gazette, Sundays only; and the weekly Register. I believe the DU has the most thorough Whitewater news. I initially subscribed to the WalCo Gazette, but found it lacking, compared to the DU. The Register is showing improvement of late, particularly due to new submissions by local Tom Ganser. I might add that I daily checkout the online WW Banner, Daily WI, and, of course, the excellent Free Whitewater. Keep fighting…err…writing.
Gazette on line has better news than other two choices
only not as much about whitewater and more about Janesville
My three: State Journal, Capital Times (online daily), and Isthmus’s Daily Page for traditional papers. The New York Times is a great Sunday paper.
I also frequent a blog from Whitewater, now and again. 😉
we dont have a tv station like milwaukee or madison
not having one makes papers more important than in a bigger city with tv news each night
