It’s the last Friday before Halloween, so a poll about Halloween monsters – which do you think is the greatest Halloween scare (or, if not scariest, then most interesting)? What’s your favorite?
I’d say zombies, I suppose, with werewolves a close second. What do you think? (Multiple answers are possible.)
Ghost films can still be scary if the film is dark and people seem alone.
One of the best vampire films I’ve ever seen was The House of Dark Shadows (1970) directed by Dan Curtis, retelling, on the big screen, the afternoon soap opera story of Barnabas Collins, played by the late, great Jonathan Frid. Oddly, it’s STILL not available on DVD!
Vampires, thanks for asking.
I still say that the scariest movie is “Showgirls”. It’s just scary that they made the movie.
That’s too funny – and it’s too funny because, in the end, Showgirls really is a very strong candidate for scariest. No doubt about that.
