A simple question, suitable for the weeks before spring, when robins are talked up as a happy sign of milder weather: should the robin remain the Wisconsin state bird?
I would never do anything to bias the results of this poll.
I’ll simply offer a photo of an ordinary-looking, two-bit robin, followed by a photo of an alternative state bird, an impressive and majestic kestrel.

I’m so, so, so glad you didn’t do anything to skew the results of your poll. 😉
Time for a SAVE THE ROBINS defense fund!!!!!!!
never heard of a kestrel before
they do look good but I will stick with robins anyway
Aww, c’mon, John…the Robin is so Wisconsin, especially when it arrives in late Winter/Early Spring. My only other choice would be the Cardinal, in all its crimson majesty. (P.S. Red Robin has great burgers!). 😉
I admit it – there’s no way to persuade people to abandon the robin – even through ridiculous efforts to bias people against a longstanding favorite.
And Red Robin does have great burgers: juicy, lots of speciality choices. Hungry just thinking about it. 🙂
