Good morning.

Sunday in Whitewater will be partly cloudy with a high of 68. Sunrise is 6:29 and sunset is 4:47 for 10 hours 18 minutes of daylight. The moon is a waning gibbous with 53.3 percent of its visible disk illuminated.
On this day in 1993, the Maastricht Treaty takes effect, formally establishing the European Union.

Such was the scene Saturday night, when hundreds gathered in the ballroom at Mar-a-Lago to celebrate Halloween with the president. The theme was the jungle, if an opulent one.

“Look at all my rich members,” he told reporters. “They spent all day getting ready. Look at these guys.”
He added: “These are the biggest guys on Wall Street.”
