Ron Johnson really is America’s Dumbest Senator™:
MIDDLETON – U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson said Thursday there’s nothing improper about President Donald Trump’s call on Chinese officials to investigate his top political rival in his 2020 re-election bid.
Trump extended the invitation Thursday to the foreign country as he faces impeachment over a similar request of the president of Ukraine and just months after Trump’s 2016 campaign was investigated over its ties to Russia officials.

Do you suppose RoJo has a piece of the Ukraine action? He’s acting kind of strangely for a simple Senator from a hay-seed farm state.

Yes, he does.
It’s so odd. Most people, I truly believe, are pretty darn sharp. The GOP Senate caucus serves as a collective exception to that belief, and even among them, Johnson seems a dolt.
Why put Johnson near anything, unless one thought that the best tool for the job was one with a dull blade (useful as a lever, but too blunt to cut anyone else)?
Perhaps they assumed he’d be quieter, and do what he was told to do, but now it turns out he’s too slow to keep his mouth closed.

If Johnson keeps helping this way, the president* may be in Leavenworth by Christmas.”
